The situation

A guide selects the context-valid Program variant, completes only its required inputs, reviews the day, and sends it through conflict review.

What starts it

The guide opens an assigned CIS that still needs a Program.

How it unfolds

GuideOperationsSystem
  1. 1

    Open the assigned CIS

    Guide

Starting from the CIS preserves the date, lodge, and trip promise.

  2. 2

Complete only the inputs required by the selected variant

    Guide

Fishing needs a Beat; POA needs an activity and may include a provider; IN/OUT and Transition keep CIS routes read-only.

  3. 3

Confirm the participating clients or the read-only transfer manifest

    Guide

IN preselects arriving clients; Transition automatically includes every transferring CIS client.

  4. 4

Review the variant, date, lodges, people, route, Beat or POA activity, and compensation

    Guide
  5. 5

Send the Program for conflict review

    Guide
  6. 6

Mark the clear path ready or expose the conflict

    System

A conflict-free Program becomes ready automatically; coordinator review is only for exceptions.

Who's involved

Guide

Builds the practical day from the assigned trip context.

Operations

Owns coordination only when conflict review finds an exception.

System

Checks the submitted Program for conflicts and marks the clear path ready.

What each person sees

Guide

The contextual variant, required inputs, clients or manifest, review, and conflict result.

Why: Build and verify the day without duplicating CIS travel records.

Operations

Only Programs that require coordination after a conflict.

Why: Focus attention on real exceptions.

System

The submitted Program inputs and the resulting review state.

Why: Keep the normal path automatic and the exception visible.

The rule to remember

Create the Program from the assigned CIS and keep variant-specific requirements intact; never force a Beat or Fishing Report onto non-fishing work.
