Glossary
Understand the terms used throughout Trailhead.
Use this glossary when a workflow mentions a Trailhead record or operating concept. Individual workflow pages explain why each term matters at that moment.
CIS
The trip record that connects the client group, dates, lodges, itinerary, assigned people, required work, gear needs, and Programs.
CIS code
The visible reference used to identify the exact CIS without relying only on the group name.
Client
A person traveling within the CIS. Clients can have individual itinerary, fishing participation, preferences, and gear needs.
Team
A grouping of clients used to organize how trip or fishing work is delivered. One CIS can contain more than one team.
Company
The operating organization and Trailhead subject, such as El Encuentro. The company owns the shared inventory, users, permissions, policies, and financial responsibility across its lodge locations.
Lodge
A physical operating or lodging location used by part of a trip. A CIS can include more than one lodge. A lodge is not the company, inventory owner, or authorization boundary.
Assigned people
The guides, coordinators, or other responsible people attached to the CIS or a specific field day.
IN / OUT
The arrival and departure itinerary, including locations, timing, transfers, and the person responsible for pickup or drop-off.
Gear request
The CIS record of client equipment needs and requested quantities. It does not replace the Program or inventory fulfillment.
Program
The executable fishing work for a specific date, clients, beat, and guide team. A CIS can require more than one Program.
Beat
The selected fishing location or operating area used by the Program.
Fishing Report
The submitted record of the field outcome, including catches, conditions, notes, photos, and related evidence.
