Seasonal
Curate seasonal events and review guide observations that inform future fishing decisions.
Seasonal is the editorial home for time-bound knowledge such as hatches, runs, thermal changes, and other patterns tied to a lodge, beat, and date window.
Maintain calendar events
People with Field Knowledge write access for the selected lodge can create, edit, and delete curated seasonal events. Keep the category, beat, date window, strength, title, and evidence clear. Long windows weaken the signal; an event should describe when the phenomenon is genuinely useful.
Review observations from the field
Guide Mobile can submit standalone seasonal observations. The web surface shows those observations as a recent evidence stream. A writer can delete a clearly incorrect observation with an audit trail, but there is no confirm/dismiss workflow and an observation does not silently become a curated calendar event.
Report-linked nature-event provenance and a combined mobile seasonal aggregation remain later work. Do not describe them as part of the current workflow.
Feed decisions without approving them
Seasonal events and observations can contribute to FIE recommendations and the mobile Signals context. They do not approve a Program, override an access rule, or guarantee an outcome.
