Profile and documents
Review personal readiness, update source details, and maintain the credentials Operations uses for guide work.
Profile is the guide's personal hub. It shows the current identity, role, onboarding state, season context, Guide account, personal details, professional documents, Seasonal Kit, appearance, settings, and sign out.
Read the Profile state
Start with the identity card and onboarding status. Confirm that the name and role are correct, then follow any visible banner:
- Complete your profile — Onboarding has not started.
- Pick up where you left off — A draft is in progress.
- Submitted for review — Operations owns the next review action.
- Update requested — The guide must correct the record.
- Verified — The onboarding record passed review; individual documents can still have their own states.
The Profile menu previews personal details, uploaded-document count, Seasonal Kit state, and Guide account balance. A preview is a shortcut, not a readiness approval; open the corresponding page for the source detail.
Review and update personal details
Open Personal details to review:
- legal name, alias, and date of birth;
- phone and address;
- emergency-contact name, phone, and relationship;
- DNI number and CUIL.
This page is read-only. Select Edit details to reopen Onboarding, make the source change, save the affected step, and review the updated Profile. Because identity, contact, and tax information participate in onboarding review, a material change can require Operations to review the record again.
Maintain professional documents
Open Documents to manage:
- CV;
- driver's license;
- vehicle photo and vehicle brand, model, and plate;
- guide credential;
- National Parks credential;
- boatman license;
- nautical card.
For each document:
- Open the document row.
- Select Upload document or Replace document.
- Take a photo or choose a file from the device.
- Crop an image so the complete document remains readable.
- Wait for upload and document reading to finish.
- Open the detail page and review the preview, upload date, expiry date, and extracted fields when available.
- Confirm document number, holder, issuer, valid-from date, and valid-until date against the source.
Image documents can be opened at full size. A PDF is recorded as an uploaded file but is not rendered as an image preview. For the vehicle entry, save brand, model, and plate separately from the vehicle photo.
Follow document status
| Status | Meaning | Guide action |
|---|---|---|
| Missing | No file is stored for that document type. | Upload it when the role or assignment requires it. |
| Uploaded | The file reached Trailhead and is waiting for review. | Check the preview and extracted values. |
| Reviewed | Operations inspected the file but it is not marked verified. | Follow any accompanying instruction. |
| Verified | Operations accepted that document. | Replace it before it expires or when its details change. |
| Rejected | The file was not accepted. | Replace it with a correct, complete, readable document. |
Replacing a document creates a new review obligation; it does not preserve the old verification for the new file.
Upload success is not document approval
OCR, preview generation, and upload confirm that Trailhead received and read what it could. Operations still owns verification, and the guide remains responsible for the source document's accuracy and validity.
Recover from document problems
- If camera or library permission is denied, grant it in device settings or use the other available source.
- If cropping removes an edge or field, cancel and recapture the document.
- If reading is incomplete, compare the stored preview with the source and replace it with a clearer image when needed.
- If upload fails, retry that document only after checking connectivity.
- If the wrong document was uploaded, replace it; do not assume an unreadable preview will be ignored.
- If the status remains rejected or a role requirement is unclear, ask Operations which credential is required.
