CIS
Create a CIS
Start the client trip with the booking dates, lodge context, group, and known team.
Create the CIS before adding detailed travel, stays, passengers, or fishing work. This establishes the trip that every later record will reference.
Start the trip
- Open CIS and start a new trip.
- Enter the group or client reference, Group size, and FOC passengers.
- Set the booking start and end dates and confirm the responsible lodge context.
- Add booking-wide services or notes that apply to the whole trip.
- Add the known booking team only when the people, roles, and dates are ready to be confirmed.
Check the starting record
| Check | Expected result |
|---|---|
| Group and dates | The correct client trip and complete operating window are visible. |
| FOC passengers | The free-of-charge count is explicit, never greater than Group size, and separate from angler/non-angler participation. |
| Lodge | Later stays, assignments, and work remain inside the intended lodge context. |
| Booking-wide notes | Information that applies to the whole trip is not buried in one passenger or stay. |
| Team | Each selected person has one explicit assignment role for the relevant CIS dates. |
A requested guide is not an assignment
A preference can help staffing decisions, but only a saved booking-team role makes the person assigned to the CIS.
