The daily journey

  1. Open the assignment β€” When Operations saves a CIS with a newly assigned guide, Trailhead sends that person an assignment notification. Open it to reach the linked CIS and confirm the assigned role. Unrelated CIS edits and unchanged team members should not produce duplicate alerts.
  2. Read Calendar β€” Find the assigned work again, understand its state, and open the correct CIS or active Program.
  3. Review the CIS β€” Confirm the trip, dates, itinerary, fishing requirements, and participating clients.
  4. Request CIS gear β€” Review each client's needs, adjust the requested items, and submit the gear request.
  5. Create the Program β€” Select clients and beat, resolve conflicts, notify the owner, and make the Program executable.
  6. Execute and report β€” Follow the active timeline, complete the Program, and submit the Fishing Report.
  7. Close trip gear β€” Return checked-out CIS equipment, record item issues, and follow Operations reconciliation.

The guide's workspace, permissions, and readiness still matter, but they support this daily journey instead of interrupting it.

Next: read Calendar and continue the assignment.
