Assignments and conflicts

Assignments are created in the CIS booking team, not on the person profile.

1. Review CIS dates and client context.
2. Select an active person eligible for the guide slot.
3. Let Trailhead check availability across the booking range.
4. Add an eligible assistant when required.
5. Save only a team without role or date conflicts.

A conflict blocks the invalid team; it is not an ignorable warning. Ops must choose another eligible person or change the staffing plan, then let Trailhead recheck availability. A requested-guide preference cannot override a conflict.

Saving the CIS establishes assignment visibility. It does not create or approve every daily Fishing Program.
