Gear and account boundaries
Use gear and financial signals for readiness without moving custody or accounting into Guides.
Guides can surface whether a person's Seasonal Kit, trip gear, expenses, advances, earnings, or account state needs attention. Those signals support readiness and accountability, but Guides does not execute the underlying work.
| Concern | Owning area |
|---|---|
| Seasonal Kit and trip-gear custody, replacement, return, and reconciliation | Inventory & Gear |
| Guide earnings, expenses, advances, payments, and ledger truth | Guide Accounts / finance |
| Daily Program and Fishing Report | Fishing |
| Person identity, eligibility, readiness, and assignment visibility | Guides |
Program completion can credit a guide account. A gear issue can later create an account effect only after the responsible workflow confirms it. The guide reports field facts; Operations and finance own custody and accounting decisions.
